Wrangle — Privacy Policy

Wrangle ("the app", "we", "us") is an on-device video grading tool. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data. The short version: your videos never leave your device.

1. Data collection

Wrangle collects nothing. There is no account creation, no sign-in, no server communication, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. The app does not require internet access to function.

2. Your videos

• You choose a video through Apple's system photo picker, which runs outside the app. Wrangle is handed only the single clip you pick and never gets access to your photo library.
• The chosen clip is copied to a temporary working file on your device for editing and is removed when you finish or start over.
• Subject detection and masking run entirely on-device using Apple's Vision framework. No frames, masks, or thumbnails are uploaded anywhere.
• When you export, the graded video is saved to your Photos library using add-only permission, at your request. Wrangle cannot read your library.

3. Diagnostics

Wrangle records crash and hang diagnostics locally via Apple's MetricKit to help fix bugs; these stay on your device. If you have iOS diagnostics sharing enabled (Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share standard, anonymised crash reports with the developer through its own systems — this is controlled entirely by you, and the app itself transmits nothing.

4. What we do not do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
• We do not transmit your videos or any personal data to any server.
• We do not track you across apps or websites.
• We do not access your contacts, location, or health data.

5. Deletion

Uninstalling the app removes all data stored on your device, including temporary working files and local diagnostics. There is no server-side data to delete because none is ever created.

6. Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
