Sworn — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
Sworn ("the app", "we", "us") is an on-device accountability planner. This policy
explains what the app does and does not do with your data. The short version:
everything stays on your phone.
1. Data collection
Sworn collects nothing. There is no account creation, no server
communication, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs. The app
does not access the internet.
2. Data storage
- Goals, tasks, and scheduling data are stored locally in a
SwiftData database on your device.
- Income and spending entries are stored locally. If you
optionally connect a bank via open banking, transactions are fetched and
stored on-device only — they are not transmitted to any server.
- Notifications are scheduled locally via the OS notification
system. No notification content is sent externally.
- On-device AI processing (nudges, summaries, transaction
reviews) uses Apple Foundation Models running entirely on your hardware.
No data is sent to Apple or any third party for AI processing.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
- We do not transmit your data to any server.
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, location, or health data.
4. Widget data
The home screen widget reads your task data from the shared App Group container
to display what's next. This happens entirely on-device.
5. Deletion
Uninstalling the app removes all data stored on your device. There is no
server-side data to delete because no data ever leaves your device.
6. Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be
reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
